…Then these training courses are designed with you in mind.

they are designed to transform your whole life experience.

you are about to uncover the vital, yet often over-looked central piece of the ecological puzzle that modern humans are now grappling with.. namely having the faculty to establish depth ecological relationships with the more-than-human world.

these relationships provide the personal, therapeutic and transformational element absolutely imperative to the necessary re-education of our ecological selves. this is now of vital importance in the face of mounting ecological, societal and political tipping points the world over.

We have developed these ecologically therapeutic Learning Pathways to bridge the gap between our dominant, objective, evidence-based systems and our mostly dismissed and derided, intuitive-based ecological knowledge. our ecological knowledge governs how we relate and connect with the more-than-human elements in our personal or working contexts. Importantly, these Learning Pathways equip us with a transformative understanding of our ecological responsibilities and impacts at an individual and collective level of decision-making.

This training addresses the core issue of establishing deep respect for the personhood of nature, so often neglected or omitted in favour of questionable sustainability actions and policy playing out in the real world.  Transforming our relationship with nature is never-the-less vital to the establishing of sustainable, equitable and ethical interventions and systems.

Ecology of being Learning Pathways constitute a series of unique advanced-level developmental experiences.  They are designed to open up learning pathways that build towards accomplishing sequential, ecological milestones.

The core initiatory dynamic in the learning process are the use of specific pieces of ecological Art. The ecological artworks used in Ecology of Being are the product of the visual artist NallaRuer. They are initiatory instruments used throughout the Learning Pathway process to foster a transcendent, intuitive identification within the connective intelligence of nature.  In this way they are central vehicles for transformational accomplishment.  They enable the integration of significant psycho-ecological events, these then form the pathway to transitional experience and ecological ''Rites of Passage''.

This whole process echoes the maturational processes undertaken by our ancient forebears.  This symmetry provides a secure and resilient foundation in our efforts to become effective and influential Ecological humans.

Core Issues addressed in these Learning Pathways:

The principal focus of this training is to facilitate transformational relationships with the more-than-human world as the essential pathway to re-establishing ourselves as part of the connective world of nature.

Intimate visceral identification with more-than-human persons are understood as providing the foundations for depth ecological development.  These relationships are the driver for a psycho-ecological process understood as the principal initiatory ''change agent'' for transforming our ecological connection within nature, the foundation for “Depth ecological consciousness”.

“This lost connection within nature remains dormant within our depth psychic strata, awaiting to be awakened”.

Fundamental to achieving this transition is understanding more-than-human persons as our healers, teachers, initiators and guides.  Establishing intimate relationships and identification with more-than-human persons is the beginning place for modern human ecological re-education.  understanding this opens us to transformative relationships in the here and now, right where we are.  These relationships connect us with our original ecological selves, directly linking us to our ancient forebears who lived as ''Beings of Nature'', who lived as an integral part of the connective intelligence of our Earthland. We thereby begin to reclaim our ancient core Earth identity.

This lost, interwoven connection within nature remains dormant within the depth psychic strata of us modern humans, awaiting to be awakened. Depth connection and attunement with more-than-human persons is the starting place for comprehending the profound personhood of all nature, it is our entry point into a psycho-ecological unity within nature.

This unifying experience begins with our understanding of the critical importance of our relationship to the place of our engagement with nature.  Coming to an understanding of the significance of place in our attunement process within nature is vital. This leads us to a depth understanding of the transcendent presence of ''Place'', the place wherever we find ourselves. Every unique place has the imprint presence of a multiplicity of ''Beings of Nature'' both past and present.  These presence are always embedded in a particular place and connecting with this deep sense of place, this deep presence of place, is of singular importance on our pathway to advanced ecological development.  Comprehending and integrating a depth alignment and attunement with the sacredness of place and honoring the presence of place is a central goal and accomplishment of this training.  Accomplishing this profound step in consciousness enables a platform for grounding ourselves and imbibing the vast ecological knowledge of a particular place, no matter how much this appears to be destroyed or hidden by us modern humans. It is important to recognise that we are connected to place beyond modern conceptions, the condition of our separation from nature has split us from this depth connection. When we accomplish a depth re-grounding of ourselves in place, we are then able to build relationships with the remnant more-than-human others of place. they become our direct guides - our ''totemic'' other, key players in our ecological development.  These relationships provide the foundation for how we reset ourselves within the connective psyche of nature, they transform our relationships within nature and our understanding of life.

These transformational steps enable us to begin the reinstatement of ourselves as “Beings of nature”, establishing the ground for an advanced understanding of the sacredness of nature and, in this context, the sacredness of ourselves.

This enables us to begin to operate from a ''state of connective integration within nature'', the foundational condition for a sound, operational depth ecological consciousness.  This forms the essential axis for informed ecological decision-making.  Only in this way can we begin to make sound, connective and integrated ecological choices in our journey in life and within our spheres of responsibility and influence.  Our decision-making then becomes a dynamic change agent, aligning our actions within the connective fabric of Earth responsibility.  These then become the building blocks necessary for the profound changes incumbent upon us modern humans in our present and future relationship with our Earthland.  Honoring our Earthland as a core principal in our decision-making begins the process of fundamental change in how modern humans relate to the Earth. This is the dynamic starting place for all restorative, ecological, political and societal actions and for our establishment of a sustainable, ecological future.

If these core ideas speak to you directly and resonate with you then you’re ready to experience our foundational course: ‘The Making of an Ecological Being’.

Ecology of Being Learning Pathways have broad, universal applications and will appeal to individuals working across diverse fields.

These Learning Pathways are therefore open to a wide spectrum of people in fields such as environmental work, sustainability, health & wellbeing as well as therapists, teachers, visual artists, performance artists, writers, horticulturists, homeopaths, healers, herbalists, growers, animal workers, investors, entrepreneurs and business owners, policy advisors & workers & volunteers in NGO's and Statutory organisations to name just a few.

The principal pre-qualification for this training is that participants are already on their own ecological journey.  They are best suited to those who are motivated to advance their own ecological consciousness, their relationships within nature and their whole life experience. Therefore they are open to anyone who is willing to take the next step in their ecological journey and take forward their own particular circumstances, responsibilities, opportunities, areas of influence and projects.

The key goal of Ecology of Being is to contribute to the advancement, nurturing and development of ecological Influencers, Initiators and Teachers. To help those who influence and teach others, to operate more effectively and influentially to act as Agents of Ecological Change within our wider communities.
